Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy features a selection of different outfits that you can equip at any time to change your characters’ appearance during gameplay and in cutscenes.
These outfits do not come with additional abilities or improved combat performance, but they do come with additional information on the characters and their history, making them a great find for those who are heavily invested in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

How to Unlock All Groot Outfits in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy
There are 7 different outfits to unlock for Groot. Only one of them is obtained automatically, so you will have to go off the beaten path to unlock most of them.

| Groot: Guardians of the Galaxy 2014 Movie Outfit | In Chapter 1, after you are reunited with Groot, head into the location he came from, and then head to the right. Crawl through the tight space to find the outfit. |
| Groot’s Five Horsemen of the Apocalypse | In Chapter 3, after Groot has built his bridge, climb on it and then head to the left, enter the cave and freeze the water. Continue climbing until the edge of the cliff, where the outfit is located. |
| Groot’s Nova Corps | In Chapter 5, explore the room with the orange light. The outfit is behind the machinery. |
| Groot’s Annihilation: Conquest Suit | In Chapter 10, head to the right as Groot lights up the way until you find a small gap surrounded by plants. Proceed to find the outfit. |
| Groot’s Impaler | In Chapter 12, you will have to proceed past the wires in the area with the yellow vending machines, then continue using the Guardians’ abilities until you have to ask Rocket to turn off the electricity. The outfit is to the right of this area. |
| Groot: Five o Clock Sprouts | In Chapter 13, proceed until you can get inside the mountain. To the right of the entrance, you will find this outfit. |
