Mario Party Superstars features a very nice selection of minigames lifted from previous entries in the series. While most of these minigames are rather creative, and sometimes a little wacky, there are a few of them that are not as wild as all the others, being inspired by real-life sports.

There are 6 Sports and Puzzles minigames available in Mario Party Superstars, and most of them play exactly like the real-life sports they are based upon. Like for the Coin minigames, they do feel pretty varied, as they are played by 2 and 4 players as well as by teams of 2 players each.
Like for all the other minigame types, all Sports and Puzzles minigames have appeared in previous entries in the series, so if you have played plenty of Mario Party games before, you will be familiar with most of them.
