The Mario Kart Tour Winter Tour includes not only new content in the form of new karts, new characters, like Baby Mario and Dry Bowser, but also a new gameplay mechanic, the Drift button, which will help players achieve victory and earn Grand Stars to unlock more content.

As always, different rewards are available for Gold Pass subscribers, giving players an incentive for subscribing.

A new trailer has also been released, showcasing the new content and features. You can take a look at it below.

Mario Kart Tour is one of the most interesting mobile games released in recent years, as it manages to capture the fun of the main series, working around the limitations of mobile devices. A recent update also introduced improved controls which make the game feel more like a Mario Kart game than a Mario Kart themed auto-runner.

The game, unfortunately, locks some content behind a paywall in the form of the already mentioned Gold Pass, which is now quite expensive and not quite worth it unless you play the game daily and want to enjoy the fastest racing class currently available, the 200cc class.

Mario Kart Tour is now available on iOS and Android worldwide.
