Mamoswine in Pokemon Unite: Everything We Know So Far

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Mamoswine has been announced as the next Pokemon coming to Pokemon Unite. It has been suggested that Mamoswine will arrive some time after the mobile release on September 22nd. The Ice/Ground-type Pokemon evolves from Piloswine to Swinhub, and ends up in as Mamoswine in its final form. Here is all we know so far about the eagerly awaited Mamoswine in Pokemon Unite!

Mamoswine is more than likely going to be another Defender Pokemon alongside Slowbro or Snorlax. This is due to his size and melee attack style, and will result in him having high endurance and support stats, but low agility and speed. If he does end up being a Defender Pokemon the best Held Items to take to battle may be the Focus Band to up the defense stats even more, or the Rocky Helmet to help out when you’ve taken some substantial damage.

Icicle Crash (Pokemon Company)

The sneak peek we have had of the gameplay footage has shown that Mamoswine can slow the opponent and make them vulnerable to attack from allies. Icicle Crash has Mamoswine lift the enemy, smashing them into the ground, and looks like they also freeze them. Mamoswine’s Unite Move is a stomping technique and, although not confirmed, it looks like it could deal some serious damage.

Pokemon Unite is available to play on Nintendo Switch now, and on IOS and Android from September 22nd.
