This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

Two days ago we have reported that the action role playing game Lords of the Fallen, released on consoles and PC this year, is going to be released on iOS as well in the future. More details on the iOS version of the game have finally come in, confirming that the game will not be a port of the console and PC game but a brand new title.

The new details on Lords of the Fallen iOS have been confirmed by Marek Tyminski, CI Games’ head.

“I’d also like to offer some new information – we’re currently working on a mobile game that takes place in the Lords of the Fallen universe, which we’re aiming to launch on iOS and Android in 2015. It will not be a straight port of the game though, but rather a brand new Lords of the Fallen experience. More details on that are still to come.”

A direct port of the PC and consoles game probably wasn’t going to work for iOS devices, so this is definitely good news.

Lords of the Fallen will be released on the App Store in the future. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more comes in on it so stay tuned for all the latest news. The PC and console game is now available in all regions.

Thanks, Joystiq
