LifeSim: Life Simulator is the latest life simulation game to hit mobiles, but Hyper Games’ title takes a different approach to the classic formula and mixes in more time management features, and less text. Gym and Karaoke are your best friends
Whenever you log in to the game after an extended leave, the first thing you should do is hit the gym and karaoke buildings by tapping the Map button at the bottom.
These give you the chance to play up to three minigames in a row and increase your health and mood. The minigames themselves are not extremely easy, but not very difficult either and you should always play the level you can definitely complete successfully – otherwise instead of gaining that amount to your stats, you will lose it!
There is a cooldown period involved after trying for a few times and the minigames themselves are sometimes buggy and frustrating, but they don’t use up energy or money, so they’re totally worth it!
Easiest way to make money: the Stock Exchange
Even though it’s called the “Stock exchange” you’re not actually buying from the stock market, but instead go on a very simple money exchange platform.
The thing is that here you can easily make a ton of money: simply look at the indicator of the monetary value for a while to understand the spikes and crashes, and then buy when the bar is very low (you can safely put all your money there) and then sell when it is as high as possible.
Remember, there seems to be a timer here and if you don’t sell after a while, the game automatically sells for you at the current market value, so instead of waiting for the biggest profits possible, settle for smaller amounts, then rinse and repeat. Focus on completing your career goals
Your main goal is to climb the career ladder ASAP and become the best in your chosen profession. However, that is extremely difficult and requires a ton of energy, resources and stats, so you should start working on it early on.
Remember that every time you perform an action that requires energy, the in-game time passes, getting you closer to becoming older or closer to getting your next paycheck.
I am not sure if you can die of old age in the game, but it’s best to do everything you can to reach your goals as fast as possible, so focusing on leveling up your career constantly is the only thing you should do (which, of course, implies a lot of other actions)
Is it worth pursuing multiple career paths in LifeSim?
There are three different career paths you can follow in LifeSim, but it makes no sense to waste energy on more than one. They all have the same requirements (in terms of energy consumption and everything else) and having a high level in two career paths gives you no bonus or advantage.
Therefore, just focus on your main career and get to the top ASAP, completely ignoring the other two as there is absolutely no benefit to be gained from them, on the contrary: you’re just wasting energy and money.
Build a relationship and family
Don’t forget to do the dating game as well: your relationship tab is where you will spend a ton of energy and even more money to build up your family.
It goes in a similar fashion with the Job progress, but the good part here is that you get a small boost to mood and health whenever you perform an action there. And you get to choose your wife or husband, with is even better!
Watch ads to increase stats and money
The game is extremely difficult and challenging, basically made to force you to either spend some money in the game or watch ads to simplify your life (or be extremely patient – which is free!)
I recommend going somewhere in the middle and watching ads constantly: you can do so to double your wage or simply gain a salary whenever you feel like, but you can also watch ads to increase your energy, health and happiness. Do that often and you will progress a lot faster in the game.
The time lapse cheat
Here’s a little trick you can use to cheat your way through life and get infinite amounts of energy:
Force quit the game (not just exit from it, also swipe it off the screen), then go to your device’s settings. Set the date manually to 1-2 hours ahead.
After doing so, when you get back to the game, your energy will have replenished as if the time has really passed. Rinse and repeat, although this does ruin a lot of the fun of the game… take the long way instead as it’s more enjoyable!
