Land Sliders Cheats: Tips & Strategy Guide to Unlock All Characters

Land Sliders is a really addictive endless type of game where you can control any of the 50 unlikely heroes to gather goodies, avoid funky enemies and… well… get a high score that’s better than those of your friends’. And we are here to help you get there, as well as unlock all characters with some Land Sliders cheats and tips that will hopefully keep you alive longer and will have you get all the animals faster than anybody else.

So let’s not waste any time! There’s a lot to do in the game, so let’s move on to check out Touch, Tap, Play’s Land Sliders cheats and tips to unlock all characters (and get a super high score) below!

1. Choose your best control method!
There are two different control methods in the game, each an inverted option of the other. We start by default with the “slide the world” control scheme unlocked which I found difficult and unnatural, so I switched to “control the character” so it basically goes in the direction you’re sliding. Make sure that you try out both control methods and choose the best for you!

2. Master the controls
Now that you’ve chosen your favorite control method, you should master it: master the swipes (quick swipes to move the character faster) and especially the stops (tap the screen to stop). Later on, as you progress through the levels, swiping and avoiding obstacles and moving enemies will be just as important as mastering the stopping mechanic, so make sure you practice it a lot.

3. Get rid of those monsters!
You can get rid of most of the monsters on the lands if you have the perfect options. Bears, for example, will blindly follow you anywhere, so you can move fast and around a hole or lake and they will drop right in. The same goes for all the other animals – if you have a place to lure them into and have them fall, you’ll have an easy job to ace the level. Just have in mind that the natural obstacles (such as spikes) don’t affect them.

Also, knowing your enemies is extremely important if you want to survive in this game. Learn the patterns and how each enemy works and remember that you can use them against each other. For example, you can draw in bears or the jumping dinosaurs into the spiky turtles, you can “aim” the bulls in the direction of other animals and they will be destroyed and so on. Everything’s dangerous out there – but fortunately, for everybody!

4. Take advantage of the potion!
The potion of invincibility (or whatever the red bottle is called) turns you into a ghost-eating Pac Man for a while, so make sure that you quickly move into all monsters on the map while under its effect. Not only that you will destroy them, but they will also drop a ton of preferred items of your character, so it’s really worth it. Just have in mind that you’re not invincible to falls or water!

5. Don’t waste time getting all the items
Each level has a number of items that your character loves and they can be collected to count towards their star rating. However, you don’t have to collect them all in order to be allowed to progress. If one or more are too risky to get it’s best to simply ignore them, even though collecting them all gives you a bonus of items.

6. One star all the characters you have
Getting to the first (then the second) star is the easiest thing to do, so make sure that you do it will all the characters you unlock. You don’t get extra stats or anything like that, but you do get a coin reward that will help you unlock even more characters faster. Eventually, once you will max out your characters, for every 500 favorite items that you collect for them, you will receive 25 coins!

7. How to unlock even more characters?
You need Coins to do so and if you don’t want to pay real money for your characters, you have to be a bit patient: open the free gifts as soon as they are available, and you will get some nice goodies, potentially a ton of coins too. Watch ads for the free coins (for every 4 ads you watch, you unlock a new character) and complete quests as they sometimes reward you with coins. Also keep an eye on all levels – sometimes there will be a lonely coin waiting to be collected.

8. Catch the rabbits!
Not all the monsters in the game world are dangerous! If you see rabbits, try to run into them as they will explode into bits of items for your character. But be careful, they are quite suicidal and they will immediately jump into water or holes if they have the chance!

9. Play in landscape mode
You can play Land Sliders in landscape or portrait mode, but the first one gives you a better view of the map, so make sure you only play in landscape mode to make your life easier. If for some reason you need to see more in the upper or lower areas of the map, simply switch into portrait mode.

10. Play with the sound on
I usually play my games with no sound, but in this case, it can be useful to have it turned on because you get sound warnings when enemies are close or about to strike. See if the helps.
