KleptoDogs is a lot like KleptoCats, so if you have played that game you will know there is a lot of waiting involved. Let’s get started with our KleptoDogs cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!
Spoil your pooches for the best items!
Remember to always bring up your dog’s mood up to 100% before you send them out! When their mood is at 100%, they will almost always bring back a new item for you.
The best and fastest way to make them happy is to give them the full treatment – that means a treat, a bath, and a hug! Doing all three will bring your pup’s mood up to 100%.
Play the digging game for extra coins!
Out of the three minigames for you to play while your dog is away, we have found that the digging one is the best for getting more coins. To play the digging game, you will need to wait for sparkles to show up on the ground.
Tap rapidly on the sparkles to dig, and you will get either food or coins. Getting six food nets you one coin, and because the sparkles show up so fast it is somewhat faster than the jumping or catching game.
Convert coins into gems!
Gems are the premium currency of KleptoDogs, and you need them to recruit new puppies. Eight gems will bring a random dog to your house, so you will need as many as you can get. Your dogs will sometimes bring you gems in addition to items, but this is very rare so you will get new dogs very slow if you are primarily a free player.
You should know that you can actually convert your coins into gems, at a rate of 250 coins per gem. You will definitely earn coins a lot faster than you do gems from your dogs, so this is a much better way. You can also convert a gem into 125 coins, but this is definitely not worth it!
Save your money for callbacks and new dogs!
You can head into the Boutique to buy some new outfits for your doggies. While this is super cute, the outfits do not actually do anything for your dogs, and a lot of them are really pricey – some even need to be bought with gems!
Needless to say, if your main objective is to get as many dogs and items as possible, skip the boutique!
Be on the lookout for secret codes!
Just like in KleptoCats and KleptoCats 2, there is a secret safe icon hidden under the Options menu. Tapping this will allow you to input a secret code for special goodies, but you will need to follow HyperBeard Games’ social media accounts to get them!
