KingsRoad is an action RPG that lets you choose between three hero classes: knight, archer, and wizard. Pick whatever you like and blast through various environments, cutting down whoever dares to stand in your way. Play through the story alone, or join with two other players to fight the menace together! 1. Replay levels!
When you complete a level for the first time, you will gain something called mastery points. Upon first-time completion, you will gain mastery level 1 for that level. You will get 5 gems as your reward! You can do this 4 more times, leveling up your mastery for that specific level up to a maximum of 5. Once you hit maximum, you’re rewarded with a whopping 50 gems. If you need some gems, try mastering some levels!
2. Play with others!
At any point during the game you can find additional party members to make your questing easier. There’s no downside to do so, either! When you’re in a full party, you gain a 25% bonus to experience and gold earned. You also get your own loot, so you don’t have to worry about sharing! You should always try to be in a party to make your quests go faster.
3. Join a guild!
If you haven’t already done so, be sure to join a guild! When you’re looking for a guild to join, try to join the one that is the highest level, as they will probably have the guild bonuses unlocked. The higher the level, the more bonuses will be available to you. Best of all, these bonuses are passive and you don’t need to do anything besides be a member of the guild in order to reap the benefits! The bonuses include stuff like increased health and mana, more gold drops, increased experience gain, reduced cost of food and potions, and more!
4. Dodge attacks!
Certain enemies have powerful attacks/spells that have a bit of wind-up time to them. Just be sure that you’re always paying attention. If you see an enemy start to charge, or if they start glowing, or if there’s a glowing area on the ground, move out of the way! You might be able to dodge the attack if you’re far enough from the enemy or the target area.
5. Fuse old equipment!
The default option in the forge is to fuse equipment together. You get to pick the rarity, but you start out with only being able to fuse Fine rarity items. You need to put together 3 Common rarity items to fuse 1 Fine rarity. As your hero levels up, you will unlock rarer levels to fuse with. Each level uses a certain amount of items from the previous rarity, so be sure not to throw anything away. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the fusion mechanics, so fuse whatever you have lying around. For example, fusing 3 common swords won’t guarantee you a fine rarity sword. You’re going to be constantly doing this anyways as you will run out of inventory space very quickly in this game! With that said…
6. Save your gems for inventory unlocks!
You get gems, the premium currency of this game, pretty easy, but you should save them for inventory unlocks. You can expand your inventory by spending 300 gems for a couple more slots. Don’t spend your gems on the rare chests, as you will be making your own equipment anyways.
7. Use jewels to refine your equipment!
Jewels can be socketed into empty sockets on pieces of equipment for small bonuses. Just like the forge, you can combine jewels to power up a single jewel. Each time you want to insert or remove a jewel however, there is a small gold fee, which gets bigger depending on the rarity of the jewel. These costs can add up, so if you want, you can sell extra jewels for gold. Unlike equipment forging, powering up jewels is a little more clear cut. As mentioned, you can sacrifice extra jewels to power up a single jewel. Once the jewel hits maximum level, you can evolve it if you have the right materials, permanently increasing its bonus stats. Additionally, sometimes there will be event periods where fusions will have a guaranteed bonus slapped onto them. Try to fuse during these times!
