The Juju running man challenge is here! Juju on the Beat is a 2D sidescrolling endless runner set to the popular song. Jump your way through a maze of blocks, but watch out! These blocks will transform and shift as you get close, so you need to be on your toes! We have some tips and tricks for you to get far so let’s get started with our Juju on the Beat cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!
1. Wait until the last moment!
The blocks in the distance constantly change shape, but they only do this when you’re close to them. Try to not jump until you’re at the very edge of your platform. If you jump too early you might end up sideswiped by a transforming platform! Patience is key, and here is a good rule of thumb to keep in mind. If the platform in front of you hasn’t transformed by the time you’re three blocks away, then it’s probably safe to say that it won’t transform.
Beware that sometimes it’s not the platforms in front of you transforming – it could be the platform you’re standing on currently! Watch out for these as they are particularly surprising. Most of them like to expand the bottom part of the platform out. Be careful not to drop too low, otherwise you might not make the jump to the next platform.
2. Ignore the gems!
The yellow gems are the premium currency of this game. You can use them to unlock additional costumes for your runner. The problem with this is that each additional costume costs a whopping 500 gems to unlock! You’re not going to be reaching that any time soon, and watching the advertisements only grants you 20 gems. While most of the gems are placed in plain sight, some are positioned in high risk areas. If you don’t care about the costumes, it’s best to just ignore the gems outright and focus on running.
3. Keep your eye on your runner!
A lot of our mess ups came from us losing track of our runner. While it is important to keep looking ahead so you know when to jump, make sure you don’t get carried away too much that you lose focus on your runner. Remember that your runner only has one jumping height, and it’s not affected by how long you hold down your taps. That means that only positioning is important when it comes to making these jumps, so make sure of where your runner is before you jump!
4. Keep practicing!
Much like any endless runner, Juju on the Beat is a very simple game to pick up and play. To get really far though, you’ll need to practice. Get better at reading the platforms and jumping by just running over and over again. Eventually, you’ll be able to get really far! Don’t stop practicing!
That’s all for Juju on the Beat. If you have any other tips or tricks to share, let us know in the comments below!
