Jetpack Joyride Updated To Celebrate Fruit Ninja’s 5th Anniversary

Jetpack Joyride, the endless runner game developed by Halfbrick Studios now available on the App Store in all regions, has received a brand new update a few hours ago. The update is meant to celebrate the 5th anniversary of one of the more popular mobile games ever release, Fruit Ninja.

Thanks to the new update, players will be able to take part in a brand new event called Cut & Run. During this event, the jetpack will be replaced with a fruit shooting watermelon and players will have to get as much fruit as possible within 60 seconds. Hazards will make players lose fruit so make sure to avoid them as much as possible if you want to get a really high score.

Jetpack Joyride is without a doubt one of the best endless runner games currently available on the App Store. Players will have to control their character as he escapes from a lab from where he stole a jetpack. Players will also be able to use a variety of vehicles that control quite differently from each other, adding some welcome variety to the overall experience.

Jetpack Joyride is now available for download for free on the App Store. The game does comes with several IAPs but they’re not needed to see everything the game has to offer. The new update is also available for download right now.
