Don’t worry about the stars on your first time!
Each level in It’s Full of Sparks has three stars for you to obtain. You’ll need to finish the level under a certain time limit to get all three stars. The time cut-offs start out pretty lenient but they get really tough very fast! Because of this, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the level before attempting to speedrun it.
Don’t worry about the stars on your first run through. Take your time (well, not too much time – you still have a lit fuse to worry about!) and study the level. See what colors you need to swap out and the fastest way to do it.
Hold forward right out the gates!
Some of these 3-star times are VERY strict! You’ll need to be on your toes and waste no time if you’re chasing after those coveted 3-stars. As soon as the level loads in, the clock is already ticking! Hold down the forward button to immediately start moving. Just be careful of any obstacles that spawn close to you.
Hotswap color blocks!
Eventually you’ll pick up different colored glasses when you need to take care of more than one color of blocks. Here’s a little quick tip that you should get in the habit of using: you don’t need to manually turn off each individual color.
For example, say you want to deactivate green but then red after. You can turn off green, then immediately turn off red without hitting the green switch first. This sounds inconsequential initially, but when the time difference between 3 and 2 stars is literally milliseconds, it makes all the difference!
Come back to collect firecrackers!
You start the game off with 15 firecrackers, but trust us when we say that you’re going to go through them VERY quickly! You have several options when it comes to getting more firecrackers.
The game will automatically generate firecrackers for you overtime, but you’ll need to come back and manually collect them. This method has a cap of 5 firecrackers, and since you generate one firecracker every couple of minutes, you’ll need to come back often to make sure your supply stays high.
The other options involve buying firecrackers or watching advertisements. You can get through the game on just waiting for firecrackers to generate alone, but you’ll need to come back often to make sure you don’t let any firecrackers go to waste!
