Pokémon Go’s weekly Spotlight Hour is here for May 2022. The fourth week of this event sets its sight on Wingull, and therefore, fans are curious to know whether its shiny variant exists or not.

The first Spotlight Hour of this month will commence on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time. During this time frame, Wingull will appear more frequently in the wild, and trainers will be able to bag Double evolution XP as part of the event bonuses.

The in-game description of Wingull says “He has the habit of carrying prey and valuables in its beak and hiding them in all sorts of locations. This Pokémon rides the winds and flies as if it were skating across the sky.”
