The Sims has always been a social game, and players would often make Sims out of their real-life friends. The Sims Mobile has taken it one step further, where you can now play with your friends online, in a way. Today, we’ll answer the question: is The Sims Mobile a multiplayer game?
The Sims Mobile Multiplayer
To put it shortly, The Sims Mobile is “kind of” multiplayer. You can add your friends that are also playing The Sims Mobile to your friends list, and you can visit each other’s homes. You can go ahead and show off that snazzy new room you just decorated, or you can check out your friends’ places and interact with their Sims.
You can also join random parties, if you’re looking to get down on the dance floor! You, or random players, can host parties at their houses, and they can set it so that random players can join. Sims can play games, eat delicious food, socialize with your new friends, and just have some good old-fashioned fun.
The one caveat to all of this is that none of the interactions are in real-time. All the Sims you see at the parties are not controlled by actual players, it’s just their Sims doing things on their own. Even when you go over to a friend’s house, they’re not actually playing with you at the same time.
And there you have it: The Sims Mobile is multiplayer in a way, but it’s limited. If you have any other questions, let us know in the comments below!
