The Bedrock editions of Minecraft feature an in-game Marketplace where players can purchase additional skins, texture packs, game modes, and more! Occasionally, the Marketplace may go down for maintenance, so today we’ll show you how to check the Minecraft Marketplace server status to see if it’s down.

How to Check Minecraft Marketplace Server Status

The quickest way to see if there’s anything amiss with Minecraft’s servers as a whole is to head on over to the official Mojang Status Twitter account (@MojangStatus). Mojang will tweet about any major outages or planned maintenance times, so you can diagnose whether the error is on your end or theirs.

Now, that leaves the question: is the Minecraft Marketplace down? As of December 15, 2021, 3:00 PM PST, the Minecraft Marketplace seems to be running normally. We were able to browse all sections of the Marketplace and even download some of our existing content. If you’re receiving Marketplace errors, we recommend restarting the game or troubleshooting your home network.
