Sega’s Sonic Speed Simulator in Roblox
Earlier today, the official Sonic the Hegehog Twitter account made a surprise announcement: they’ve launched a Sega-endorsed Roblox experience based on Sonic! Officially titled Sonic Speed Simulator, the experience will have players run through beautiful locales based on famous levels from Sonic the Hedgehog. Here’s the Tweet:

Sonic Speed Simulator is currently in the testing phase, which means that you’ll need to pay 50 Robux in order to get early access. The experience will open up for free to all users tomorrow, so you can also just wait.
Players will assume the role of either Sonic or one of his friends, then speed through huge levels full of Rings to collect. There will be multiple worlds to unlock and explore for all speedster adventurers out there. For the competitive players, the experience will also feature real-time multiplayer, where you can race against other players to see who’s the fastest hedgehog alive!
Players can collect Chao, the cute little creatures that debuted in Sonic Adventure. In fact, if you pay the 50 Robux to gain early access, you’ll be rewarded with a special Chao based off of Knuckles the Echidna. Chao will boost your character’s stats in certain ways, so collect them all!
