Video game publisher EA has launched a remake of its popular 2008 survival horror Dead Space. Developed by Motive Studio, Dead Space Remake takes players back to the world of sinister monstrosities known as the Necromorphs.
This time, however, players get to enjoy the game on higher resolution, higher framerates, and a more developed narrative—as well as new secrets that’ll be unveiled along the way. And with new detail and realism, prepare to face enemies that’ll appear more horrifying than they did in the first Dead Space game.
But there is one thing that Xbox and PC fans may be wondering: is Dead Space Remake coming to Game Pass? Let’s find out!
Is Dead Space Remake Coming to Game Pass?
For now, Dead Space Remake is not coming to Game Pass for PC, Xbox Consoles, or the Cloud. And although Game Pass users have access to EA Play, Dead Space Remake is only available to EA Play Pro subscribers.
This means that players with Game Pass and basic EA Play will not be able to access the game as part of their subscription yet. EA may decide to offer a free trial to Game Pass users in the near future, even though it most likely won’t be the complete game.

Ultimately, despite it not being on Game Pass now, Dead Space Remake might become available on Game Pass in the future. There’s a very good chance that EA will add it to Game Pass after a few months, or even years, of its release.
With that said, players shouldn’t expect to get Dead Space Remake in the Xbox subscription service anytime soon, unless the game fails to record the expected sales. And if you’d like to play the new title sooner, we suggest you simply purchase it. You can also subscribe to EA Play Pro for a month and play it within that month.
And if you do decide to buy one month of EA Play Pro, Dead Space Remake is not the only Pro-exclusive game you’ll be able to play. The library includes the new Need for Speed Unbound, Madden 2023, and many others.
