The year is 2020, and the world has crumbled to pieces. In Invasion, you take the role of a commander trying to build up a new empire. Ally with other players or crush them in this exciting real-time strategy city management game. In our Invasion cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide, we’ll show you how to create a sturdy base and build the ultimate army.
1. Follow the base missions!
Base missions are the missions that show up at the bottom of the screen in that blue outline. These missions are aptly named because they will tell you what buildings you should build next for your base. Following these will grant you some nice resource rewards and ensure that your base is kept up-to-date, so don’t skip these missions! Do note that you need to manually collect the rewards once you do a mission.
2. Do the daily missions and guild missions as well!
Daily missions aren’t really missions at all, meaning that you don’t actually need to do anything. Once you start a daily mission, you just have to wait for its timer to go down. Once it’s finished, you can collect the rewards. Since there is no penalty for doing them, you should always make sure you have a daily mission accepted. Guild missions work the same, and sometimes even offer better rewards.
3. Speaking of which, join a guild!
Guilds are groups of players under the same banner. You can help each other out with base construction by looking for the little hand icon at the bottom right. If you’re in a guild and you see this icon pop up, that means one of your fellow guildies is building a new structure and you can help reduce the time it needs by tapping that button. Be sure to do this a lot as you gain guild coins each time, which can spent on upgrading the guild!
4. Collect the rewards center and routine supply bonuses!
The little money icon at the bottom left is the routine supply. Every half hour or so you can collect free resources with no strings attached! The rewards center will also often send you goodies. Just check for the present icon on the left side of the screen. If it’s there, you have stuff to collect! After following all of these tips, you should have no trouble with resources.
5. Scout before you attack!
When engaging with other players, you can opt to scout their base before launching a full-on assault. Scouting lets you get a preview of their resources and army. The accuracy of your scout report depends on the level of your scouting ability. Using this information you can decide whether or not you want to commit to attacking another player. Just remember though – players will know who scouts them, and they may not take too kindly to it!
6. Always train more troops!
Keep in mind that you have different timers for a lot of things, and your armories are separate from them. This means that you can always have troops training, which you should because depending on the amount of troops you’re trying to train, the longer it takes. Check your queues at the top left corner of the screen. If you don’t see troops training, set some!
