Like the universe itself, InterPlanet is a beast of a game so let’s waste no more time and get started with our InterPlanet cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Complete the Medals!

Medals are essentially this game’s version of quests. You can see your main quest on the bottom of the screen, and tapping it will take your directly to whatever you need to do. If you’re ever unsure of what to do next, simply tap on this button and it’ll take you to the next recommended objective.

The full Medal list is comprised of Medals, Daily Missions, Beginner, and Conquest. Medals are achievements that grant you rewards upon hitting certain milestones. Daily Missions are simply missions you can complete once a day, and you should because ALL of the daily missions reward you with with Creds, the premium currency of the game.

Beginner and Conquest are related to gameplay progression. The Beginner medals, as you can probably tell from the name, relate to the stuff you’ll be doing early game. For example, one of the first medals requires you to ask for building assistance from your guild. The Conquest medals pertain to the raiding aspect of the game.

Build storages ASAP!

Early on, your cap for energy and minerals is going to be very low. To get around this, build as many storage facilities as you can and upgraded them as much as possible. The early game rewards will flood you with extra minerals and energy, but you won’t be able to collect any if you don’t have space.

Keep your base busy!

In addition to your ECO Build Stations that let you build and upgrade new facilities, you’ll also need to monitor your captain recruiting and parts workshop.

In your Fleet Base, you can search for new captains to recruit. This process costs 500 minerals and an hour, so be sure you start it up before you move onto other activities. Captains are never in short supply, so always have a search going.

In your Parts Workshop, you can produce elements that you use to craft new equipment for your ships. This process costs some energy and a LOT of time, some processes requiring up to three hours. Producing elements is something you definitely do not want to sleep out on!

Assign the right Captain for the job!

Captains can be assigned to any ship in your fleet (this is why you should always be recruiting new ones – you’re going to need a lot of captains!) and they’ll provide that ship with certain bonuses.

It’s important that you read up on your captains, as they all have unique abilities. Some of these abilities only affect ships of a specific class, so be sure you’re using the right captain for the job.

Strategically deploy your ships!

At the start of a base battle, you can deploy your fleets in any order you like. Try to be mindful about the positioning of your enemies, as you can deploy to your advantage.

For example, the Angel class ships are designated as defense ships. These ships are very sturdy with high health and shields, while lacking in firepower.

With that knowledge, these ships should be the first to hit the enemies. They’ll take the brunt of the attacks, while your weaker but stronger assault-class ships in the back can fire safely. Remember to use their charge attacks when they’re ready to go too!
