Unhappy with your current dead-end office job, you decide the read the letter you received from your late grandfather, telling you to only open it when you feel like you’ve hit rock bottom. Turns out that you have inherited a plot of land from a run-down farm in Stardew Valley.

With nothing to lose, you pack up everything you own and officially leave your job to move to Stardew Valley. Your new life is waiting! In Stardew Valley, players will create their own farmer and built their own legacy. Build a fancy new farm from the ground up, chat with the local townspeople, make new friends, and even get married!

There’s always something to do in the humble valley, and you might even get a few visits from surprise friends that were thought to be long gone. Just remember that your grandfather has your back at all times!

If you’re a veteran farmer, you will be pleased to know that the mobile version of Stardew Valley contains all content up to version 1.3 of the original release. While this means that there is no multiplayer or mod support, the UI has been redesigned for a more mobile-friendly experience.

As an additional bonus, iOS version players will have the ability to transfer their PC saves via iTunes, so you can pick up right where you left off if you’ve been playing the PC version. No word yet if the Android version will be able to do this.

Stardew Valley will launch October 24 on the App Store for 7.99 USD and will contain no in-app purchases.
