Ascension in Immortal Taoists is a way to improve your stats and get some additional abilities. From the lore perspective, it is the act of you reaching Heaven. To start Ascension, you will need to beat the 20 Adventures and reach the Gate of Heaven. There, you will get an explanation of three paths of Ascension you can follow. You can only choose one of these. All three paths offer different rewards and have different requirements to meet completion.
The first path is Ascension through the Array of Heaven. It is the first method and demands that you simply go through the Gate of Heaven. There, you will find the Array of Heaven, which has 4 floors. You will need to beat all of these stages and become the Ascended. The floors provide you with different challenges, and you can try to overcome them once per day. The reward for this method of Ascension is x4000 Stat points you can spend freely for any of the 4 main attributes, as well as the Twilight Spell Avatar and the Heaven Card Background.
The second path of Ascension is called Body Ascension. It is the hardest path, as you will need to reach both the Gate of Heaven and the body realm of Heavenly Being. You will be rewarded with x1000 Live Essence, x1000 Vital Energy, x1000 Strength, x1000 Dexterity, x1000 Perception, the Golden Body Spell Avatar, the Hell Card Background, and the Heaven Card Background.
The last path is called Guided Ascension. It is the easiest method and requires you to fail once at passing the first way. Once you’ve failed, you can ask an Ascended player with Immortal Beast to help you with your Ascension. The reward will be x1000 Live Essence, x1000 Vital Energy, x1000 Strength, x1000 Dexterity, the Twilight Spell Avatar, and the Heaven Card background.
