Idle Supermarket Tycoon is another idle game, so while you will be waiting most of the time, there are a few things to keep an eye out for. Let’s get started with our Idle Supermarket Tycoon cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Leave the game open for customer attending missions!

Certain missions will ask you to attend a certain amount of customers at a specific department of your store. The amount of customers you need to help starts low, but as you progress through the game it will grow substantially. One thing we have noticed is that sometimes the game will not count customers you have helped when it is closed. If you are currently on one of these missions, we recommend leaving the game open so you get the proper credit.

Check on your trucks!

Once your supermarket starts to grow into a big business, it can be easy to forget about your home delivery system. Over time, your trucks will be automatically sent out to deliver goods. They will come back some time later with cash in hand, but it must be manually collected. On top of that, the truck will remain in your loading bay until you collect the cash. You can have up to four trucks waiting in the loading bay, so be sure to check on it every now and then!

Watch an ad to double income!

At any point during the game you can pause to take a breather and watch a short advertisement. For your troubles, all of your income is doubled for an hour. We think this is a really good trade off, so if you have a second consider watching an ad to boost your income! It is really worth it in the long run. As added bonus, you can get 35 gems for free if you watch 5 ads in one day, although this is a bit much.

Check the condition of your store!

If you tap on the button with the chart on it at the top right corner of the screen, you will be brought to Management. Here you can check the hard numbers of your store: your gains per customer, your parking usage, your average checkout waiting line, and so forth. Each stat is colored differently; blue and green stats are OK, but if a stat is red, that means that there a bottleneck there!

You can use this to your advantage and upgrade your departments as necessary. For example, if your parking usage is very high, that means you are missing out on potential customers. Simply upgrade your parking space and that will do the trick!

Choose your epic upgrades!

Every time you complete a mission, you will earn a few gems. Gems are the premium currency of this game and they can be spent on “Epic Upgrades,” upgrades that remain persistent throughout your game, even if you change neighborhoods. These upgrades can be really helpful provide you get the right ones.

Upgrades that pertain to the customers, like “Compulsive Customers” and “Family Marketing” are always great choices. While they do not add increased profits directly, the speediness of your customers will pay for itself in the long run. The more specific upgrades, like the ones that upgrade specific departments require a little more investment to get the most out of. Just have a plan for the upgrades you get!
