Collect souls and use them to upgrade your workplaces so that you can gather MORE souls! Evil is unlimited here, and our Idle Hell Clicker cheats and tips will show you how to gain lots of souls!

Idle Hell Clicker is a entertaining little idle game where you get to see cartoon dudes get bullied in all sorts of manners. Let’s start getting those souls with our Idle Hell Clicker / Evil Clicker cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Activate the bonuses!

Occasionally you will see an office guy appear at one of the corners of the screen. Tapping him will offer you a double boost to all of your earnings for the next hour in exchange for you watching a short advertisement. If you have the time, the double earnings really helps you out and enables you to progress much, much faster than you would have normally.

Buy the Soul Collecting upgrades!

Out of all the potential upgrades you can get, the Soul Collecting upgrades are the ones you should always buy first. Buying this upgrade will make the corresponding workplace automatically accumulate souls over time without you having to manually collect it. You will still need to eventually tap on it to collect the accumulated souls.

This upgrade is important because unless you collect the souls, workplaces will halt until further notice. This upgrade basically puts the “idle” in the game’s name, as you can’t really idle without it!

The first version of the Soul Collecting upgrade will make workplace 1 become automated. You will need to keep purchasing additional upgrades in order to see the ones that affect your other workplaces.

Upgrade until the speed boost!

Whenever you upgrade a workplace, take note of the green bar that appears over the number of upgrades. When this green bar fills up all the way, the workplace will gain a permanent 100% speed boost. This effect can stack multiple times; you simply have to keep upgrading until the green bar fills up again.

When you stack multiple speed boosts on the same workplace, you can really get the souls flowing – even from workplaces that don’t generate a high amount of money from the baseline, like the whipping station.

Connect to Facebook!

If you have a Facebook account, we highly recommend connecting your account! Not only do you earn 50 gems upon doing so, you also gain access to the heart boosters. When you have friends that also play the game, you can assign them to one of your workplaces to give it a heart.

Each heart is worth +1% profit, and while this doesn’t seem like a lot, multiple friends on the same workplace – that is also upgraded and already making a lot of souls – will greatly increase your income!

When to start over?

The big boss awaits for you to reset your progress and restart every now and then. You will receive apples when you start over, but it’s really worth it.

Not only that you will receive a boost of income for each apple that you have, but you can also spend them to purchase special boosts that make your life a lot easier.

So… when to reset your progress in Idle Hell Clicker aka Evil Clicker? Whenever the amount of apples you receive gives you a massive enough boost to do it. Look at the price of the next apple upgrade and try to reset progress when you’ll receive enough to get it.

If you’re really active and playing the game constantly, we recommend resetting your progress once per day.

That’s all for Idle Hell Clickers. If you have any other tips or tricks to share, let us know in the comments below!

  1. When you pay diamonds to summon the boss do you then need to click on the boss? I did so but then lost all my work stations even tho I paid….but nothing indicates it did anything after I paid the 350 diamonds…

    • Each time the boss collects all your souls and takes your stations it speeds you up and earns you more. I click on the boss once a day- by the 12th day it takes about 3 minutes to get everything to reappear and you are generating ees within a minute or two

    • If you spend 350 diamonds to “collect apples without losing progress” you DO NOT need to click the boss. If you do, you will lose your progress. There isn’t an indication after you use 350 gems to collect apples but nonetheless if you check your total current apples, they will have increased yet your progress will remain intact.

    • I did that my first time. But you’re not suppose to. If you pay the 350 diamonds for the apples it gives it to you without having to summon the boss

  2. always hire the guards every 4 hours, they increase your earnings, then before you collect the souls click on the supervisor, that will double what you have earnt.

  3. Help.
The game will not connect to the internet and the “contact us” tab will not do anything… along with other minor issues.
Can this be fixed in any way without losing any of my current progress?

  4. So I understand certain puzzles unlock new work stations, however there are puzzles for the original 9 as well. What do the puzzle do for the original 9 once they are completed?

  5. First, I’ve never had to pay diamonds to summon the boss. No, I’m not a greasy hacker. The game has just never asked me to pay the boss, so something seems wrong there, with the first commenter.
Second, why does NOBODY claiming to have a walkthrough mention the “15 minute rewind” on the wheel?
    What is it?
That’s all I’m looking for and none of these “walkthroughs” even mentions it.

    • It’s 1 more than 887bb, and 1 less than 889bb. This is what the game used to denote values larger than 999.999.999 trillion. After trillions comes aa, bb, cc, dd, etc.

  6. Here’s a tip. When you open the app and double your profits, don’t collect the souls. Leave them gathering at the station. Close the app and come back in a couple of hours. You get to double the station earnings again. And again. And again.

      • What I recommend is closing out of that, and (especially if you have the premium purchased female 4x inspector) run the inspection THEN collect your souls. You’ll then get quadruple for like 10 seconds more hassle.

      • If you haven’t played the game in more than one hour, then the next time you launch it, you’ll be presented with an offer to double all the uncollected souls in the workstations (not the souls you’ve already harvested). When that offer screen first pops up, there will be a ‘double it’ button at the bottom, but sometimes there’s a spinny thing around the ‘X’ button in the bottom left, meaning you have to wait a minute while the game prepares. You won’t be able to click the green button until the spinby thing around the ‘x’ goes away. HOWEVER, be careful. Sometimes when the spinny thing goes away, the ‘Double it’ button briefly becomes an ‘OK’ button. Make sure the green button changes back to ‘Double it’ before you click it. Rarely, that can take up to 20 or 30 seconds, but it always returns, so long as you haven’t already clicked the green button while it says ‘OK.’ If, instead, you click the button while it says OK, then no totals are doubled.

  7. Why does plot 8-9 produce little to no money?
My plot 4 at lvl 1 produces more souls than the plot 9 at lvl 31. It took so long to get them, but they don’t help…

    • For all the comments i have read…there isn’t anything on what the count down to payday is for and what happens at zero… I no longer have a countdown to payday …what does it do
O when it gets to zero?… Is there supposed to be a a bonus or extra souls or apples?. Or just disappears like it did in my app?

      • The countdown is in regards to facebook friends you have assigned to workstations. When it gets to zero, your workstation friends are wiped and you must add them again to keep getting the bonus.

  8. If you want to really ruin the fun in the game, at the store it has a premium 2x souls upgrade for 0 gems. You can get it as much times as you want. Basically in 5 minutes you can have enough souls to unlock everything in the first area, then it’s a matter of getting the chests.

  9. When I log in the screen says that XXX souls are waiting for me.
Where du i collect them? It just says workplace, but it doesn’t add up to the amount. Is there somewhere else souls are hiding?

  10. People who have issues with the souls not adding up you need to hit the tri-colored circle in the bottom right. There are 3 “boards” blue red and green. You are not collecting most of your souls. I also check in about every 2 hours to double my souls, after they are doubled. Close the app and come back in 2 hours, and double it again, stack this your whole work day and have a bit of fun when you collect and upgrade.

  11. Every time I get my 6th plot, the only thing the game will let me do is click the boss and reset for apples??? From all the help I have seen online there is no mention of this. Am I doing something wrong or missing something? Thanks for your help.

  12. What is with upgrading and the stations losing income? I think it is station 7 I was earning 1.4 cc. I did a bunch of upgrades in the flame and now it only earns 300 bb wtf….?

  13. I am so confused I keep getting apples and getting upgrades with them but everyone and a while my profit bonus goes from like 5 million percent to 100 thousand, why does that happen does anyone know???

  14. What’s with the 3 extra slots in the collection page…I’m almost silver in all and have no more room for these 3 stations.

And what about the special offer station…how the frak do I get that.

  15. It kind of sucks, but the quickest way to accumulate the most points makes you not really play it fully. Notice how when you return to the game after maybe an hour or two,, you have the option to double the souls waiting for you in the plots, if you watch a short video? Just continue doing this, and your #’s grow exponentially.

    • Yup. I usually summon the boss every few days anyway just to see how many apples I get but the fastest way is not to cash in and just keep doubling.

  16. How do I open the “Special Offer” in circle 3? I’ve read just do the “daily prizes” but I’ve been doing that 3 months without fail and haven’t been able to open it. Help, getting bored of this game.

    • Plot 3 of circle 3 is actually the one you get when you buy the special offer that pops up and offers a new torture plot. The one with either the secretary or the succubus, I can’t remember which.

  17. does upgrading the the demons to work twice as fast, apply to workstations that haven’t been built yet? e.g. I upgrade to work twice as fast before i build the 4th workstation, will that upgrade count towards the forth workplace? Or do i wait to buy those upgrades until all workstations are built?

  18. Clicking the chest at the top opens the screen of collections acquired. Underneath that it lists different collections and how many of each you have. I have 27/27 opened 0/27 silver 27/27 diamond 0/27 bronze 0/27 gold.

I play this game too mych lol. Im currently makinh JJJ money every few seconds. Does ANYONE have any gold, silver, or bronze collections? Do they exist? I thought maybe i would get them later as i progressed but i still have none.

  19. I have 26/26 Opened, and 26/26 Diamond, now every chest I get is now a duplicate. I’ve even bought a 150 gem chest that you don’t have, and it was a duplicate. Is there something I need to do?
