Watch for the Golden Critter!
One of the bonuses of leaving the game open is the chance of the Golden Critter appearing. Occasionally you will see a plump little golden critter scurry across the screen. If you manage to tap on it before it flies away, you will be rewarded with a bunch of coins! You need to be fast and paying attention though, because the Golden Critter does not stay for long!
Swipe manually to earn lots of experience!
Your critters will earn you lots of coins on their own, but you can earn a lot more if you take matters into your own hands. You will need to manually swipe your production line to speed it up, and when you do so your income skyrockets! If you need lots of coins in a short amount of time, this is the way to go. Just make sure your other floors are upgraded.
Level up each floor to maximum!
To make the most of your power plant and maximize your efficiency, it is best to level up each floor to its cap before you move on. When you level up a floor to level 10, you will gain the option to reset it. When you reset a floor, it gains a medal and its stat increase permanently. You can do this two more times and the floor will gain a gold medal – leveling it up to 10 at this point is the absolute maximum, and the floor is running at full capacity. Try to do this before you move onto the next floor!
Use the advertisement boosts!
Every now and then little bubbles will pop up at the top right corner of the screen. Here you can watch a short advertisement to activate a special temporary boost, like double speed. These boosts can really help so if you have a spare second, you should watch the advertisement to activate them!
Level up fast with the Golden Critter and production line!
Leveling up your power plant’s level is the main method of progression in Idle Critters. Just like coins, you will earn experience point slowly over time, but if you want to unlock new stuff faster simply speed up your production line, and you will earn a lot of experience points. Catching the Golden Critter is also worth a ton of experience, so keep an eye on that too.
