Icy Ropes is one of those extremely frustrating games that gets released on mobiles and you simply can’t stop playing them! This time, you have to guide a duo of Eskimos (or other characters, as you will unlock more) over frozen ledges. What makes the game extremely frustrating, though, is the fact that you now have to control two characters which have the annoying habit of getting in each other’s way, dragging each other to certain doom and so on. But hopefully with our Icy Ropes cheats and tips, you will be able to beat your high score and get the highest score among your friends.

Don’t let a fall stop your game!
It usually is the end of the world – or at least the end of the game – but don’t quit as soon as one of your characters misses a landing: try tapping and holding as sometimes they manage to recover as one character drags the other to safety. This happens very rarely, but when it does, you might be able to beat your previous high score!

Land them one at a time
Even though there are strategies out there to have your characters fly quickly one after another, being patient is the way to go in Icy Ropes. Carefully land one character before launching the other, rinse and repeat. This is the only way to get further without panicking!

Master the taps
It’s pretty difficult to control the characters and how they jump – especially early on in the game, but it can be done and you need a bit of practice. Learn the difference between longer taps, short taps and quick release & taps. Try mastering these and you will master the game!

How to unlock more characters
Even though new characters bring no gameplay changes, I am sure you will love to unlock as many as possible. In order to do so, you have to purchase the mystery boxes with coins you get from watching ads and playing the game, but some characters are also available to be unlocked if you install other games from the same developer, while a specific pair is only available if you spend real money on it. Make sure you check out all your options, as you will have sets of characters that are easy to get even if you don’t have many coins.

Practice a lot
I still remember my first few minutes with the game: I was not able to even land the first character and I was seriously considering that the game was broken on my device. 10 minutes later, I was already making it to 800 points and a couple of hours later I was already getting past 2,000 with relative ease. So keep practicing and you’ll get better and better! That’s the only way to beat the game!
