Hyper Light Drifter: Special Edition Looks Great In New Gameplay Footage

The excellent top-down adventure game Hyper Light Drifter is coming to iOS as Hyper Light Drifter: Special Edition, which will include new features not found in the other versions of the game as well as tweaks that will make the experience smoother on mobile.

Some time after the announcement we are finally able to see how the iOS version will run a few days before release.

Hyper Light Drifter: Special Edition is looking quite good on iOS in the new footage, which can be checked out below. While the virtual controls may not be the best for this type of game, they do seem to work well.

The iOS port of Hyper Light Drifter: Special Edition will come with 120fps support on the iPad Pro, 60fps support for all other recent iOS devices, MFi controllers support and Game Center achievements, so it seems like the port will be an extremely good one.

Hyper Light Drifter: Special Edition launches nest week, July 25th, on iOS worldwide.
