Corrin: Nightfall Ninja Act

Corrin: Nightfall Ninja Act is a Duo hero featuring the female Corrin and Elise in their Hoshidan ninja garb. They are a Green Tome Cavalry unit, and as such they are effective against Blue units.

Stats

  • HP: 34/38/41 (50%)
  • ATK: 38/41/45 (70%)
  • SPD: 37/40/44 (70%)
  • DEF: 20/23/27 (45%)
  • RES: 17/20/23 (35%)
  • Overall: 161-163

Weapon

  • Ninjutsu Scrolls: Grants Spd+4. Inflicts Def/Res-4. If unit initiates combat, unit attacks twice, and also, if unit’s Spd > foe’s Spd, deals damage = 70% of difference between stats. (Maximum bonus of +7 damage.)

Assists

  • Rally Up DEF+: Grants Def+6 to target ally and allies within 2 spaces of target (excluding unit) for 1 turn.

Passives

  • ATK/SPD Push 1-4 (A): At start of combat, if unit’s HP ≥ 25%, grants ATK/SPD+7, but after combat, if unit attacked, deals 5 damage to unit.
  • S/R Far Trace 1-3 (B): Enables Canto (Rem.), inflicting SPD/RES-3 on foe during combat. After an attack, Assist skill, or structure destruction, unit can move spaces = any movement not already used that turn. (If unit used a movement skill that warped them, its remaining movement is 0.)
  • Joint Drive ATK (C): Grants ATK+4 to allies within 2 spaces during combat. If unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants ATK+4 to unit during combat.

Strategy

True to their Hoshidan origins, these ninjas know how to strike fast and hard. Corrin and Elise have exceptional ATK and SPD growth, making them incredibly dangerous in the right hands. Their weapon, Ninjutsu Scrolls, is designed to take advantage of their SPD, as they deal increased damage to enemies that have lower SPD than them.

With ATK/SPD Push and Joint Drive ATK, Corrin gains massive ATK and SPD buffs by simply being near allies and initiating combat. Try to have an ally nearby Corrin at all times so that everyone gets the ATK buff, then go in for the kill to activate ATK/SPD Push. Far Trace will lower your target’s SPD, which will further strengthen Ninjutsu Scrolls.

As much of a powerhouse as they are, Corrin and Elise have notably low RES growth, making them susceptible to magic damage. Take caution when approaching mages!

Corrin: Daylight Ninja Act

Corrin: Daylight Ninja Act is the male Corrin in his Hoshidan ninja garb. He wields a Blue Lance into battle, and is a normal Infantry unit, making him effective against Red units.

Stats

  • HP: 37/41/44 (50%)
  • ATK: 37/40/44 (70%)
  • SPD: 35/38/41 (65%)
  • DEF: 32/35/38 (60%)
  • RES: 24/28/31 (50%)
  • Overall: 181-183

Weapon

  • Ninja Naginata+: Inflicts Def/Res-4. If unit initiates combat, unit attacks twice, and also, if unit’s Spd > foe’s Spd, deals damage = 50% of difference between stats. (Maximum bonus of +4 damage.)

Specials

  • Draconic Aura: Boosts damage by 30% of unit’s Atk.

Passives

  • Death Blow/Swift Sparrow 1-2 (A): If unit initiates combat, grants ATK/SPD+4 during combat.
  • Special Spiral 1-3 (B): If Special triggers before or during combat, grants Special cooldown count-2 after combat.

Strategy

Unlike his female counterpart, Corrin: Daylight Ninja Act is a more straightforward unit. With balanced stats and a strong weapon, Corrin can simply attack whoever he pleases without any complicated setups to deal massive damage.

Ninja Naginata+ will deal more damage to units that have less SPD than Corrin, though the damage bonus isn’t as great as female Corrin’s Ninjutsu Scrolls. While his SPD growth is good, it’s not quite up there with female Corrin. Despite this, male Corrin deals fantastic damage thanks to Swift Sparrow and Draconic Aura.

There really isn’t much else to say about male Corrin, as he can simply attack whenever he pleases. Special Spiral will help ensure that Draconic Aura comes back as soon as possible, and then he can hit any enemy very hard.
