How to Use Custom Skins in Minecraft Bedrock Edition

Despite Minecraft being a game with the biggest free world, when you are playing you still have a few opportunities to stand out among other players. You can design your unique building, but it can be easily copied by other players. So, one of the best ways to stand out and be unique is to choose a custom skin or to create the skin yourself. How to Wear Custom Skin in Minecraft

You should understand that skins are divided into 4 groups: free skins, purchasable skins that you can buy in the Minecraft Marketplace, your own skins that you could make in Minecraft Bedrock Edition and uploaded, that has been done by other people. Such skins you can get on Minecraft forums or other resources. When you successfully got them, you can put them on yourself in the Profile menu. So, here are a few ways how to look unique and use custom skins in Minecraft Bedrock Edition:

  1. On the main page, click Edit Character to put the skins that you previously bought in the Classic Skins tab. 
  2. At the Character Creator tab, you can create the skin yourself. You are supposed to choose the body style, colors, and unique features of the skin to make your skin special. In this menu, you can save up to five skins and put them anytime you want before joining the server.

For Windows 10 and the mobile Minecraft version, there is a special ability to upload your own skin in Profile > Classic Skins > Owned > Import. However, these skins can’t be seen on other devices. Also, they can not be transported into your account on another device.
