Deep Story is one out of the three modes available in Mystic Messenger, the other two being Another Story and Casual Story. Compared to the Casual Story, the Deep Story focuses more intensely on plot details.
Through the Deep Story, the player will be able to unlock the routes of Jumin Han and 707 depending on their responses in the chatrooms during the first four days of the game.
Because of this, both of them are not romanceable in Casual Story mode despite the player being able to obtain their hearts in Casual Story. In a similar manner, Zen, Yoosung, and Jaehee will not be romanceable in Deep Story; Ray and V hearts will also be unobtainable in Deep Story.
How to Unlock the Deep Story in Mystic Messenger
Unlocking the Deep Story mode requires player to acquire and use 200 Hourglasses. Due to this, we highly recommend players to go ahead and unlock all three routes available in Casual Story first, and then proceed to Deep Story.
There is something that you need to keep in mind, however: If you happened to miss way too many chats, or happened to obtain only Jaehee Kang’s / Zen’s / Yoosung’s hearts, or simply did not earn enough hearts of either one of the two to get a route by Day 5, you are guaranteed to obtain the Deep Story: Bad Ending at the beginning of Day 5; which, honestly, is something that you might just want to see if you want to experience the game in its entirety.
