To unlock the Apparel Shop in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise expansion, you will have to make quite a bit of progress, as you will have to design 30 vacation homes first.
After designing your 30th home, you will be able to celebrate your huge accomplishment with the Paradise Planning staff. You can celebrate at either the Cafè or the Restaurant and whichever you choose will not change what happens next.
After celebrating with your colleagues, talk with Lottie to start designing the Apparel Shop. This facility requires one cash register and between one and six display mannequins. If you place too many, you won’t be able to complete the Apparel Shop so make sure you count them. You can also pick the style of the clothes on display between six different options.
Once you have placed the required furniture correctly, you can take the obligatory celebratory photo, which will mark the grand opening of the Apparel Shop, where you are able to purchase new clothes with Poki. The inventory changes every day, so make sure to check the shop every day for some fancy new clothes.
