While Pokemon Legends Arceus does introduce many twists to the typical formula, some things in the game work exactly like they did in previous entries in the series, although with different forms and names more suited to the Hisui region.

In Pokemon Legends Arceus, you are still able to store Pokemon, but instead of putting them inside PC boxes, you will leave them in Pastures, which work pretty much in the same way.

At the start of the game, you will have a limited amount of Pastures. Here’s how to unlock more.

How to Unlock More Pastures in Pokemon Legends Arceus

At the beginning of your adventures in the Hisui region, you will have access to eight Pastures that can hold 30 Pokemon each, for a total of 240 storage space. To get additional Pastures before completing the main story, you simply have to put at least one Pokemon in every Pasture currently available, close the menu and then speak with Marie to unlock more. This procedure can be done multiple times to unlock a total of 29 Pastures.

If 29 Pastures and 870 Pokemon storage space are not enough for you, you can unlock two additional Pastures by completing the game and speaking with Marie. With 31 Pastures and 930 storage space, you should have more than enough space to catch as many Pokemon as you want without having to release any!
