Marvel Strike Force is a turn-based role-playing mobile game by FoxNext for Android and iOS platforms. The game was launched worldwide on March 28, 2018, and is primarily set in the Marvel Universe.
The game contains heroes and villains from across the Marvel Universe, ranging from everyone’s favorites from the MCU movies to comic-book only characters. Today we will be discussing Doc Ock, a famous villain from the Spider-Man franchise and one of his arch-nemeses.
Doc Ock
Doctor Otto Octavius, or Doc Ock for short, is a top scientist and robotics expert gone rogue after one of his inventions, the four mechanical arms fused to his spine, caused him severe brain damage, turning him into a villain. Since then, he has been a thorn in the side of Spider-Man and a lot of the Spider-verse heroes.
In Marvel Strike Force, Doc Ock is a highly valuable character and also the leader of the Sinister Six, consisting of himself, Vulture, Shocker, Mysterio, Rhino and the Green Goblin. His powers revolve around buffing and healing his allies, especially more for his Sinister Six with abilities like Sinister Recharge and Master Planner. He is no slouch in battle either with his offensive abilities being able to hit a targeted enemy or a group of them at once.
Being the leader of the Sinister Six makes him highly coveted amongst players. So how does one get him?
Acquiring Doc Ock
Getting Doc Ock will need the player to play through the Limited-Time Event: Surgical S.T.R.I.K.E. Playing through this and winning will drop Doc Ock shards. The most preferable route will be to go through Tier 5 of the event, because clearing it will drop 130 Doc Ock shards, allowing players to summon him.
The event is no easy feat at that tier though. We recommend a team of 5-star heroes such as X-23, Deadpool, Cable, Domino and Megasonic. Preferably keeping them all at a minimum of level 60, but anything between level 60 – level 75 should do the trick!
