Trade Tokens have been around in Clash Royale for a long time now and are an excellent way to trade cards with other players. These tokens are obtained via Trophy Road rewards, special event challenges, or by purchasing them through special shop offers and allowing players to exchange cards with other players. But how to use Trade Tokens in Clash Royale. Well, in this guide, we will explain how you can take advantage of these Trade Tokens to exchange cards with other players in Clash Royale.

How to use Trade Tokens in Clash Royale

While you can collect and obtain Trade Tokens you must have a King Level 8 or higher in order to trade. Also, every Trade Token can only be exchanged for cards of the same rarity. Every player can have a maximum of ten of each token. Here’s how you can use Trade Tokens in Clash Royale:

First, head over to the Trade tab and tap the “Request Card” button. This is direct you to the Trade screen. Remember, you need to have at least one Trade Token to start a trade.
On the Trade screen, you will be able to request a card as long as you have at least one Trade Token of the relevant rarity. You can choose to ask for already-unlocked cards or those they haven’t unlocked, as long as you are at or above the Arena where the card gets unlocked.
After selecting the card, you need to select four cards of the same rarity to give away in return for the requested card.

That’s how you use Trade Tokens in Clash Royale. There are four rarities of Trade tokens currently available: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. The card limits per Trade Token as defined in the game:

Common: 250 cards can be traded
Rare: 50 cards can be traded
Epic: 10 cards can be traded
Legendary: 1 card can be traded
