How to Tame Fenrir in ARK: Survival Evolved
You can tame a Fenrir—to be more precise, to get the Fenrir in ARK: Survival Evolved, you have to beat the Fjordur DLC’s final boss, which, again, is an Alpha Fenrir.

Unlocking the final boss in the Fjordur DLC is a time taking and daunting task. First, you have to kill Alpha Creatures found all around the game map to get Runestones. You can know a Creature is an Alpha by checking their names as the text Alpha is present in their names.
Once you have farmed a decent chunk of Runestones, use it to make a portal to the mini-bosses listed below:
- Haiti and Skoll
- Beyla
- Steinbjorn
You need around 30 Runestones to summon any of the above mini-bosses. Once you have summoned and defeated all three mini-bosses, you will get Relic that you can use to summon the three Fjordur Island bosses, namely:
- Broodmother – You can summon Broodmother using the mini-boss Beyla’s Relic.
- Megapithecus – You can summon Broodmother using the mini-boss Steinbjorn’s Relic.
- Dragon – You can summon Broodmother using the mini-boss Haiti and Skoll’s Relic.
Defeating the Island bosses will reward you with their respective Trophies. Assuming you managed to obtain the trophies for Broodmother, Megapithecus, and Dragon—go to any of the Floating Runestones in the Sky and craft the portal to the Alpha Fenrir.

Take the portal and defeat the boss to get the Fenrir item you can use to summon a tamed Fenrir.
