The Moon Lord is one of the toughest bosses in Terraria and you may want to learn how to summon it. This opponent is considered to be the final boss of this game and you shouldn’t expect this fight to be easy. Fortunately, there are two ways to summon the Moon Lord.

The first way to summon the Moon Lord in Terraria is called the Lunar Event. It will start if you defeat the Lunatic Cultist. This boss can be encountered outside of the Dungeon after you defeat the Golem. Here is the list of steps you need to follow to summon the Moon Lord:
- Defeat the Lunatic Cultist and start the Lunar Event.
- Find and destroy the four Celestial Pillars. These are Solar Pillar, Nebula Pillar, Vortex Pillar, and Stardust Pillar.
- Defeat the Moon Lord!
The second way to spawn the Moon Lord in Terraria will be available after you defeat this boss for the first time. There is an item called Celestial Sigil that you can craft from x20 Solar Fragments, x20 Nebula Fragments, x20 Vortex Fragments, and x20 Stardust Fragments. In order to make this thing, you will have to use the Ancient Manipulator. After that, you will be able to summon the boss with its help.
