While we could argue that it’s all becoming predictable or repetitive, sometimes it feels good and familiar to have similar traversal options, so that you can jump right into a new game and feel at home.
Luckily, sprinting is possible in Hogwarts Legacy, even though that may not be so obvious when you start the game and go through the story-heavy prologue/tutorial. When you first gain control of your character, you are hurt and have to take it slow, which means walking at first and running at a casual pace soon after. Don’t get frustrated if you can’t activate sprinting right away. This option is introduced later on in the prologue, when the game prompts you to hit L3 on your PlayStation or Xbox controller to move faster as you explore the mysterious Gringotts vault.
