How to Search for the Source of the Foul Energy While Following the Waters Flow in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact is an amazing game that lets you explore its chasms. And while exploring a particular chasm, you’ll come across a talking mushroom that will request for your assistance.

It’ll send you on a world quest titled “Dimming Mushroom’s Call of Help” and you’ll be required to “follow the water’s flow” without actually telling you where exactly to go, which is the tricky part of the mission.

So in this article we’ll be guiding you on how to find the source of the Foul Energy while following the waters flow in Genshin Impact.

In order to find the water’s flow in Genshin Impact, players will have to teleport to the Waypoint north of The Glowing Narrows, and head north, from there you can see the quest area.

After heading north, you’ll stumble upon three Abyss Mages that you’ll need to battle in order to pass, so suit up for a fight. Once you’ve beaten them and have purified the area, you’ll be able to return to the mushroom and complete the quest.

If the mushroom’s quest still isn’t unlocked, it will activate shortly once you jump down to The Glowing Narrows from the adventurers’ camp and you can head right on to complete it.
