Is Genshin Impact new beta testing the Inazuma update?

Many rumours suggest that Genshin Impact’s current beta registration is for the Inazuma update. The developers are not mentioning the name or version because they don’t want to spoil anything.

There’s a good argument that generally, a Genshin Impact beta test begins when the previous version is live. In our case, it’s version 1.6. However, to counter that argument. We will say that Inazuma is probably one of the biggest content updates in Genshin Impact launch history, and it requires a lot more testing time than the other filler updates.

Still, in the end, we suggest the Genshin Impact community to wait for official news. We will update this article if there is any new development regarding the beta testing.
