Recently, HoYoverse announced the delay of a new update for Genshin Impact. Unexpectedly, Ayaka’s banner was extended indefinitely, which upset many players. However, the game will have something to do while you wait for the update. The game will soon have a new event called Spices From the West, and in this guide, we will tell you what you will need to do at this event.

How to Play Spices From the West Event

Spices From The West event will start on May 14th and will be active until June 7th. Players will meet an explorer named Nazafarin from Sumeru. She travels to research different seasonings and creates new dishes. To participate in the event, players will need to fulfill several requirements.

You must reach Adventure Rank 20 to be able to create seasonings. Also, players who have reached Adventure Rank 28 will be able to complete quests called A Teapot to Call Home and Idle Teapot Talk. During these quests in the Teapot, players will be able to invite different characters to taste new dishes. Here are the main actions that you will need to do during the event:

• You will be looking for different seasonings for Nazafarin.
• You will be trying different seasoning recipes.
• You will be able to create new seasonings.
• You will give your recipes for tasting to other characters.

To create seasonings, players will have to play a mini-game. You will need to click in time when the slider points to the correct ingredient in the cooking pot. In total, you will be able to create seven recipes for Nazafarin. You can then give the prepared dishes to the appropriate characters to increase their Companion Levels. And of course, as a reward, you will receive some Mora, Primogems, and various materials.
