How to Mass Release Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Pokemon Legends Arceus is way more focused on Pokemon collecting than some of the previous entries in the series. Given how fun it is to catch Pokemon, it doesn’t take a long time to fill up Pastures, forcing you to release some Pokemon to make space for new ones.

Pokemon Legends Arceus makes it extremely easy to free space and let you resume your Pokemon catching business with the Mass Release mechanics. Here’s how to unlock them and how they work.

How to Mass Release Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Arceus

In Pokemon Legends Arceus, Pokemon are stored in Pastures, which work not all that different from the PC boxes seen in older games. Each Pasture allows you to store 30 Pokemon, and you will have access to multiple Pastures, so it can take a while to fill all of them up.

Eventually, you will run out of space, and you will have to remove Pokemon to make some space. Once you fill up 4 Pastures for the first time completely you will unlock the ability to Mass Release Pokemon. O

When this happens, Marie in Jubilife Village will notify you that Mass Release is now available. All you need to do to take advantage of this mechanic is access the Pastures menu by speaking with Marie, select multiple Pokemon and then release them. You will know which Pokemon has been selected by the yellow mark found on a Pokemon’s icon.

Thanks to Mass Release, you will not be spending too much time releasing Pokemon, leaving you more time to enjoy the beauty of Pokemon Legends Arceus and of the Hisui region.
