Money makes the world go round, and this is no different in Hay Day. Running a farm properly is not cheap at all, so you will need all the money you can get to make your farm the best one ever.
In this guide, we will take a look at some useful tips that will help you earn money fast in Hay Day. Beware, though: some of these methods will require tons of patience, so make sure you are thoroughly prepared!
Plant And Sell Wheat
Planting wheat in Hay Day is extremely important to keep things running, as selling it is the most reliable way to earn money as quickly as possible. It only takes 2 minutes for planted wheat to grow, so make sure to take advantage of this quick turn-around to sell as much as possible.
While visitors are looking to purchase multiple items in your roadside shop, you can pretty much force them to buy wheat only by selling every other item in your inventory. By doing this, you can also set whatever price you want for wheat to earn some quick buck, but we suggest you keep the price low to sell wheat as quickly as possible. Make sure to experiment a bit to find the right price.
Expand Your Land
The wheat selling method described above can be taken to the next level by expanding your land. With more land, you are able to plant more wheat so you will have much more to sell every two minutes.
To expand your land, you will need different items that are obtained by planting a certain number of fields with wheat, so you probably have a few of them on hand already if you have been using the wheat selling method.
The Hay Day Newspaper features a variety of ads that will let you buy items for cheap, items that can then be sold in the roadside shop. As such, you should always check the currently available ads to snatch any deal and make some money yourself off of it.
In case there are no good items on sale, there’s a very simple trick you can use to change the currently available selection: just change the game’s language in the settings to make new ads appear instantly. By doing this, you will always be able to get the items you want with a little patience.
Tom, The Errand Boy
Tom is a little helper that is unlocked upon reaching level 14 in Hay Day. Once unlocked, you can use him for free for the first time only. After that, you will need to pay 15 diamonds to access his services.
By using Tom properly, you can earn some pretty sweet money. The errand boy can be sent every 2 hours to find items, items that can be sold at the roadside ship for a good profit: the best items you should tell Tom to buy are berries, cherries and apples, as they can be sold for some good money.
As using Tom requires 15 diamonds, which are quite valuable and not all that easy to obtain, you should consider investing them only when you can take maximum advantage of your errand boy: if you cannot send him back to purchase items every 2 hours, you should probably wait until you can do so.
