How to Make a Great Throw in Pokemon Go
Great throws occur when trainers gain more experience during gameplay. They’ll start to notice the circle that surrounds a Pokémon as they attempt to catch it. This circle becomes bigger, smaller and when it is at its largest, and a Pokeball is made inside, it’ll result in a “Nice!” throw.
You should know that it is possible to manipulate the size of this circle by holding the Pokeball before throwing it. Lastly, always remember that the size of the Pokemon matters when it comes to these circles. If you’re trying to catch a large Pokemon, then it’ll have the tendency of larger circles.
So you are likely to have a “Great!” throw at bigger Pokémons. Conversely, you’re most-likely to have get the “Excellent!” and “Nice!” throws when you attempt to catch smaller Pokémons. And oftentimes, depending on how you manipulate the size of the circle, you might not get a “Great!” throw when trying to catch a large Pokemon.
