Now fill the grids on the four sides of the Redstone dust with Iron ingots. Once the crafting process is completed, you can move the newly crafted compass to your inventory.

How to Get Redstone Dust

Players can make Red Stone dust using Redstone Ore, a crafting table, and a furnace or blast furnace. You can mine Redstone Ore using a Netherite, Iron, or Diamond Pickaxe.

As for the Redstone Ore location goes, you can find it in large mineral deposits. Just dig around 12 to 27 blocks below the ground and you will find Redstone Ores.
