Changing Your Name in BitLife
Before you start your life as a baby you get to decide what your name is and what you gender will be. If at some point you decide these are not what you want, you can change them- but be aware that these changes aren’t free so make sure your character is earning enough money.
You must be over 18 to change your name and, depending on where you live, it will cost a few hundred BitLife dollars. Changing your name is easy- tap the Activities tab and scroll until you find the Identity option.
Tap Identity and find three options available to you: Gender, Name Change (over 18 years old only), and Sexuality (over 16 years only).
You can change your gender identity any time you like, and at any age. Identifying as a different gender is another way to change your name.
Legally changing your name can only happen if you have enough money in the bank but should only cost between $100-$300. Once requested, and accepted, the name change happens right away. Once applied, it can help you avoid any legal trouble you may be in!
