Like all games in the Pokemon series, Pokemon Go requires players to hunt and thrash Pokemon. But to get all the Pokemon in your collection, simple hunting is not enough, since some rare individuals can only be obtained through evolution. In this guide, we will tell you how you can get Umbreon.

How to Get Umbreon

Umbreon is a cool Dark-type Pokémon that will help you fight against Bug, Fairy, and Fighting-type Pokémon. He is also one of 9 possible Eevee evolutions. There are several ways to evolve Eevee into Umbreon.

The first way is more of an easter egg than the usual way. Players can control the evolution of their Eevee by renaming. If you rename Eevee to specific names, the Pokémon will evolve. All names are remnants of various well-known NPCs from games or series about Pokemon. However, this trick can only be used once per account, so choose wisely. To get Umbreon, you need to rename Eevee to Tamao. But if you have already used this method for another evolution, then there is another way.

You just need to make Eevee your Buddy, and then you need to get two Eevee candies and walk with your Buddy for at least 10 km. After that, you just have to wait for night and press the Evolve button. It is important to do this at night, otherwise, you will get Espeon instead of Umbreon.

We hope this guide was useful for you and you were able to get the coveted Umbreon.
