How to Get to Floaro Gardens in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Pokémon Legends: Arceus was released last month after much fanfare and hype. It is the latest instalment in the Pokémon series and takes a much different turn than its predecessors do in terms of storytelling and game mechanics.

The game takes place in the ancient Hisui region, which would become modern-day Sinnoh eventually. Fighting and capturing Pokémon is drastically different with battles taking place on the overworld instead of turn-based instance battles as was the staple of the series thus far.

The game consists of a lot of beautiful locations and sceneries that players could take a break in and relax in between capturing Pokémon and completing research tasks for the world’s first Pokédex.

Floaro Gardens

Floaro Gardens is an area in the Obsidian Fieldlands location in Hisui. Information about this place is limited so far, many players are still finding out more about it, but what we know so far is that this place eventually becomes an integral part of Floaroma Town in the modern-day Sinnoh.

For players that knew about how beautiful Floaroma Town was in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl and their subsequent remakes, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, they were pretty surprised about what they saw when they reached what seemed like Floaro Gardens.

This post from Reddit user u/rustphase31 perfectly shows the differences between the past and the present times.

According to the lore, people in the past kept trying to plant flowers on the barren and desolate Floaro Gardens, but everything would wither and die. The contrast was stark to players, seeing how beautiful Floaroma Town is in Sinnoh and then getting a look back at the past.

How to get to Floaro Gardens

Floara Gardens is located on the top of a hill which is very close to the opening base camp. It would be very noticeable by all of the dead plants and desolate atmosphere looming on the hill.

If this bit of lore was interesting, the game goes into more detail into the same during the “A Token of Gratitude” request, which may or may not involve a certain Mythical Pokémon known simply known as the Gratitude Pokémon!
