During your time in the game, you will eventually acquire the Bug Net that will allow you to catch bugs and fairies. If you are having a hard time doing so, however, you are able to make things a little easier by acquiring the Big Bug Net. Here’s how to do so.

How to Get the Big Bug Net in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD

To get the Big Bug Net, first, you need to acquire the regular Bug Net, which can be purchased for 50 Rupees by Beedle’s Shop. Once you have acquired it, you can upgrade it to the Big Bug Net with 3 Tumbleweed, 1 Evil Crystal and 2 Ancient Flowers. These items aren’t particularly hard to come by, so you will likely have them in your inventory already if you have made good progress already.

What Does the Big Bug Net Do?

The main advantage the Big Bug Net has over the regular Bug Net is the bigger area it covers in a single swing. This makes it easier to catch some of the fastest bugs in the game, and it also makes it easier to complete the Bug Heaven mini-game in the shortest amount of time possible.
