We share details on how you can get Stealth Rock (TM116) in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Stealth Rock (TM116) is a Rock-type status ability that players can use to set rocks that deal damage to opponents over time depending on how weak the enemy Pokémon is towards Rock-type moves. Put against the right opponent, and you can use this ability to deal sustained damage. That being said, here is how to get Stealth Rock (TM116) in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

How to Get Stealth Rock (TM116) in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

You can get the Stealth Rock (TM116) ability in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet out in the overworld, as it is one of the ground items you can interact with and pick up. 

Once you get Stealth Rock (TM116), you can visit any TM Machine and use the following items to craft other copies of it:

  • 3x Rolycoly Coal
  • 3x Rockruff Rock
  • 5,000x League Points

You will find the Stealth Rock (TM116) in the South Province (Area Three).

Another Stealth Rock (TM116) is found on a ledge in the South Province (Area Two). Here is a map screenshot that highlights the location for a better understanding.

The third Stealth Rock (TM116) is found in the North Province in Tagtree Thicket, on top of a rocky ledge.

The fourth Stealth Rock (TM116) is found on the ground, on top of a bluff in the North Province.

The fifth and final Stealth Rock (TM116) is found under a cliff, in between sideways pillars, in the West Province (Area Two).

As said earlier, once you have the Stealth Rock (TM116) ability, it will automatically get unlocked in the TM Machine as one of the craftable TMs. Collect the required materials and League Points, and then craft as much Stealth Rock ability as you want.
