How to Encounter a Spiritomb in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
The first requirement to catch a Spiritomb of your own is to get the Odd Keystone item in your possession. Don’t worry, there are a bunch of ways you can get an Odd Keystone; they are as follows:
- Twinleaf Town, hidden in its pond.
- NPC beside Honey Tree on Route 208.
- Mining in the Grand Underground.
Voila! You have your very own Odd Keystone! So now what?
Well, now comes the slightly tedious part. First, you need to make your way to Route 209, to the Hallowed Tower. Place the Odd Keystone in the Hallowed Tower and speak with it. At this point, Spiritomb will not appear, and you will have to make a slight detour before being able to encounter it.
Now head to the Grand Underground. Here, you must interact with 32 different NPCs. These NPCs must strictly be Trainers. Once you’ve done this, you can head back to the Hallowed Tower.
Speak to the Hallowed Tower to encounter Spritomb! It will be at level 25, so make sure you bring along low-leveled Pokemon to weaken it without knocking it out if you plan on capturing it.
