The Grand Underground in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl consists of multiple vast underworld landscapes that are filled to the brim with rewarding activities for you to take on.
One of them is finding Shiny Statues. Have you heard about them? Trying to find one yourself? Then read on ahead to learn more!
What are Shiny Statues?
In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl’s Grand Underground, you have a chance of acquiring Shiny Statues when you go about your excavations. These statues are green-colored Pokemon statues, instead of the regular grey.
They function differently from regular statues, but the community is uncertain as to what exactly makes these statues different from the regular ones, as well as how they affect the appearance of the Pokemon in the Hideaways.
How to Obtain Shiny Statues?
Shiny Statues are hard to come by in the Grand Underground due to their poor drop rate. But that can be quickly fixed!
Underneath your Grand Underground map on the left side of your screen, there is a little green meter that fills with a yellow bar each time you encounter a Diglett. The more Diglett you encounter, the higher your chances become of finding a Shiny Statue inside a Gorgeous Stone Box.
We recommend finding at least 35 Diglett before you start digging, but if you want a 100% chance to encounter a Gorgeous Stone Box containing a Shiny Statue, then it’s best you encounter 40 Digletts and fill up the meter.
The dig chance bonus expires after digging up 3 Gorgeous Stone boxes, however, so keep that in mind when in the Grand Underground!
And that’s it for our guide on how to get Shiny Statues in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl! Which Shiny Statues have you received so far? Let us know in the comments section down below!
